HPR800XD
with PowerPierce technology and True Hole technology
The Hypertherm HPR800XD, which builds on the success and power
of the HPR400XD. The HPR800XD uses all
HyPerformance Plasma processes from 30 to 400 amps for
marking, beveling and cutting mild steel, stainless steel and
aluminum. This versatility is extended to thick stainless steel
and aluminum, up to 800 amps.
Patent pending PowerPierce™ technology enables 75 mm (3") production piercing capacity and 160 mm (6¼") severance of
stainless steel and aluminum to meet the most demanding cutting requirements.
This plasma system is available only with our MEGA HORNET models.

SENSOR™ PHC
The SENSOR™ PHC is a precision plasma torch height control system specifically designed for conventional plasma systems. The
SENSOR PHC package even includes an integrated magnetic torch mount break away!
The machine operator sets Initial Pierce Height, Cut Height and Arc Voltage on the Control Console. SENSOR PHC fully automates the cutting process.
SENSOR PHC will significantly increase the productivity and profitability of your shape cutting operation.

SENSOR™ THC
The SENSOR™ THC is a full featured precision plasma torch height control
system specifically designed to integrate with Hypertherm CNC shape cutting
controls. The SENSOR THC incorporates the latest advancements in system
integration and hardware reliability. With integrated SoftMotion and closed-loop
servo control, the SENSOR outperforms all other THCs. The SENSOR
is easy-to-use and will significantly increase the productivity and
profitability of your shape cutting operation.
The machine operator selects Material Type, Process Current, Plasma/Shield and
Material Thickness in the CNC control Cut Chart screen. The Phoenix CNC
software retrieves cutting parameters from Look-Up Tables stored within the CNC
control. Cutting speed and THC parameters are set and automatically maintained
during the cutting cycle. When interfaced to a Hypertherm
HyPerformance Auto Process plasma system, the CNC control automatically sets
and maintains the correct plasma and shield gas flows as well.
Retro Systems offers the SENSOR torch height control electronics with three different lifters
- RSVS-150, RSVP-151 and RSVS-5.

The cost effective MSX 750 CAP system features a touch-less, precise and fast clearance control for oxy-fuel cutting machines achieving high quality dry cuts.
It consists of the LINEAR DRIVE 2220 with a built-in capacitive sensor system and a motor controller. Ring electrodes measure the clearance to metallic workpiece.
