The ULTRA HORNET is designed for heavy duty high definition and
conventional CNC plasma cutting
as well as heavy duty oxy-fuel cutting. Innovative heavy duty design and superior components enable customers to
select up to four plasma cutting systems with up to 400 amp output for production cutting
up to 1-1/4" (32mm). Up to eight oxy-fuel torches and one plate marker may also be added.
Retro Systems incorporates the Full Suite of Hypertherm® automation products for Total System Integration.
By featuring a Hypertherm EDGE Pro™ CNC controller and a Hypertherm torch height control,
we ensure the highest level of plasma
system performance. When used with the Hypertherm SENSOR plasma torch height
control, the Phoenix software in the Hypertherm CNC controller prompts the operator to select
Material Type, Thickness and Process Amperage. The answers to these questions set and control the
plasma process and motion control variables throughout the cutting job. If
interfaced to a Hypertherm HyPerformance HPR130XD, HPR260XD or HPR400XD Auto Process plasma system,
the EDGE Pro also automatically sets and maintains all plasma process
parameters.
ULTRA HORNET CNC cutting machines are available in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 ft effective
cutting widths. Lengths of 150 ft or more can be supplied.
